Pakistan suspended from Commonwealth

Pakistan has been suspended from the Commonwealth because of its imposition of emergency rule, the organisation has announced after a meeting in Uganda. Secretary General Don McKinnon said Pakistan was being suspended "pending restoration of democracy and the rule of law". Earlier Pakistan's Supreme Court dismissed a legal challenge to Pervez Musharraf's re-election as president.

Not a huge blow but atleast moral support to those who have faced mental and physical torture from present regime. Now Mussarf should put this medal this chest that two times Pakistan's flag has been bowed down from this conference in his lengthy tenure. On seeing the obstinate nature of Mussaraf and his accomplices ,this has no value but Bush is proved to be failed god father who couldnt secure his poodle's repute in Common wealth forum.

Commonwealth is just a colonial waste, a reminder of imperialistic designs that threatened the world in its time. It has no role to play in lives of Pakistanis & make no difference to us. They actually set double standards so that law keeps getting abused by dictators...
